#Kamen rider ooo episode 10 series
The catchphrase for the series is "I'll transform!!!" ( 俺が変身する!!!, Ore ga henshin suru!!! ?).Įiji Hino is a traveling man who has no place to call home and a tragic past. The series' titular Kamen Rider made a cameo appearance in the film Kamen Rider W Forever: A to Z/The Gaia Memories of Fate. It began airing on September 5, 2010, the week following the conclusion of Kamen Rider W, joining Tensou Sentai Goseiger and then Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger in the Super Hero Time lineup, until its conclusion on August 28, 2011. Kamen Rider OOO ( 仮面ライダーオーズ/OOO, Kamen Raidā Ōzu ?) is a 2010-2011 Japanese tokusatsu drama in Toei Company's Kamen Rider Series, being the twelfth series in the Heisei period run and the twenty-first overall. This episode I recommend, and I would probably watch this and Episode 9 back-to-back, that way you don’t have so much of a bad taste in your mouth from the horribleness of Cobraman.Medals, Underwear, and the Mysterious Armįinale: The Medals of Tomorrow, Underwear, and Arms Heldįor the series' main character, OOO, see Eiji Hino. This kind of conflict was nice to see, even if it was wrapped up nicely in 24 minutes and I do hope to see more examples of this in the future. One could point this out as stupidity by the police and it would be understandable as Shocker has to get past somebody to get that gold (which they did fabulously by blowing up a tanker boat), but I also look at the detective’s reactions as being that of the more civil type, those who tend to be more grounded in reality rather than the fantastical, who would have the hardest time dealing with Kajin from Shocker and even Kamen Rider. The detective was not really that grateful of being saved by Kamen Rider and was also not willing to stop the gold transfer despite Hongo’s objections.

Something I liked about this episode is that they tackled an issue with Kamen Rider in regards to how he is perceived by the police, both as Hongo and Kamen Rider. The pacing of this episode was much better than the previous one, and the issues I had with the overall structure and narrative of Episode 9 were addressed pretty well. Apparently Toei just was so upset with the curse of the Cobraman that they had to make sure he exploded as spectacularly as possible. From there, it’s another fight to the finish to prevent Cobraman from finally claiming Japanese gold for Shocker, and this time he falls to the Rider Reversal, leading to an even bigger explosion out in the sea. The stranger is burnt to a crisp and the detective is burned pretty badly, but Hongo ends up causing Cobraman to burn Ritsuko’s face, causing them to retreat.

Ritsuko and Cobraman bring the detective and a poor stranger out to the desert for a test of his new fireball power, only to be stopped by Kamen Rider. I'm surprised that headdress held on, to be honest, especially during the fight sequences later on. Other than gaining a new headdress, his color scheme is still the same though. Cobraman is finally revived and instead of using acid, now has a fire tongue that burns his victims to death.

When a police detective’s son’s dog comes up missing, the Rider Gang tries to infiltrate the Shocker hangout, leading to the police detective being captured.
#Kamen rider ooo episode 10 upgrade
Ritsuko is kidnapping both animals and their owners in order to revive Cobraman and hopefully upgrade him in the process. The basic plot here is much more cleaner and straightforward. I almost feel this episode was put together to make up for the horribleness of Episode 9 (although to be fair Episodes 9-13’s filming took place when Hiroshi Fujioka’s leg was shattered during a motorcycle stunt. Normally I would introduce the villian for this episode, but since we’re dealing with a revived Cobraman here, I figured I would instead pin up the co-villain of this tale, Ritsuko, a Shocker mistress who uses the blood of animals and other means in order to revive Cobraman so he can once again try to get in on the Gold Reserve Bling-Bling.
